ESTES EXPRESS LINES IS SEEKING
PART TIME
LOCAL PICK UP AND DELIVERY DRIVERS
DRIVERS ARE PAID HOURLY AND HOME DAILY
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AS FREIGHT NEEDS ARISE
(HOURS WILL VARY)

Will operate tractor/trailer in the transportation of freight traveling within the city based out of and a one hundred mile radius in accordance with Company, Federal, State and Local laws with regard to run times and DOT regulations.  Conducts pre-trip inspections to ensure safe working conditions of the tractor and trailer prior to each trip, checks gauges and visual indicators for malfunctions and conduct inspection of vehicle before and during trips to determine problems that may be occurring.  Reports all problems to Fleet Services.  Must be familiar with state motor vehicle laws and department of transportation rules and regulations.

Position Requires:

• 21 years of age or older due to DOT regulations (2 years driving experience preferred)


• Possess a Class A Commercial Drivers License 


• Possess Hazmat and Double endorsements


• May be required to drive for 11 hours per day


• Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs


• Able to operate a forklift


• Ability to push/pull a pallet jack with a minimum load of 70 lbs


• Loading and unloading trailers


• Stable employment history


• Exceptional customer service skills


• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen, background check and DOT physical


• Physical activities include: standing, lifting, twisting, turning, climbing a ladder, etc.


• Provide an acceptable DMV record (less than 30 days old)
