National Fleet (Over-the-Road)
Title: OTR Truck Driver Company Provided Training Available
Schneider is NOW HIRING over-the-road truck drivers with no truck driving experience, experienced truck drivers and graduates from other truck driving schools.
Our award-winning truckload service serves more than two-thirds of America's Fortune 500 companies on a transcontinental basis. Schneider over-the-road truck drivers can also take advantage of great benefit programs such as the Schneider Home Run Program, a shared driving opportunity that allows up to 17 full weeks at home each year.
Never Driven a Truck Before?
Schneider National offers company-provided truck driving school for qualified candidates. With its world-class training program, the Schneider Training Academy will teach you how to drive a tractor-trailer. We put a strong emphasis on safety to make sure you and other motorists remain safe on the road.
Inexperienced Drivers
Sign-on with Schneider and receive hands-on training, and you are GUARANTEED A JOB upon successful completion of our training program.
• Earn $32,000 in your first year
• Company provided training

Experienced Drivers
Experienced truck drivers enjoy immediate coverage on medical, dental, vision and life insurance and some of the newest conventional tractors to drive.
• Premium starting pay - $35,000 to $73,000 per year
• Excellent benefits on date of hire: medical, dental, vision and life insurance
• Conventional tractors on most accounts
• Paid orientation
Teams
One of the most satisfying and lucrative trucking jobs you can find is with our Expedited Division. Drivers may team with a friend, spouse or relative.
• Teams can earn more than $125,000 per year
• 98% no-touch freight
• Average team length-of-haul is 1,500 miles per load
• Schneider will help you find a team partner

Owner-Operator
Owner-Operators have the opportunity of making more money than a company truck driver. As a valued member of our team, we are committed to owner-operators long-term profitability and growth and constantly work toward supporting their ongoing business success.
• New fuel surcharge on empty and loaded miles
• $1.10- $1.16 per loaded or empty mile
• Save up to $10,000 per truck, per year with Schneider's Purchase Power Program
• Average 2,700 to 3,000 miles per week
Requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old (DOT requirement)
• Hold a valid driver's license (must be issued by your state of residence)
• Clean driving record
• Solid work history
• Commitment to safety, integrity, respect and excellence
