Introducing the Percent-of-Revenue based lease option. It's an option that
provides owner-operators the opportunity to make trade-off decisions on load
assignments and revenue paid to the truck. One of the great advantages of
this model is that the contractor has the ability to view all the available

Mileage-Based lease option
The mileage-based lease option is a great opportunity for those who are new
to the business or for those who want to concentrate more on the "trucking"
end of the business. This option allows you to take the worry out of finding

Expect Great Things
When you join Schneider National as an owner-operator, you'll be in the fast
lane to a great career with a partner you can rely on.
You'll participate in our driver orientation program. This brief,
three-and-a-half day training session begins on Sunday and ends on
Wednesday. You'll get paid $500 for attending and completing the session. We
will pay you $.50 per mile to bobtail you to the training center nearest
you.
Orientation includes:
- Additional classroom training
- Road test
- DOT drug screen
- Schneider National principles and procedures

While you are completing orientation, your truck will have an appointment
with our shop, where it will go through a Schneider National inspection
which includes DOT standards to make sure that it is running at the peak of
performance.
Also during orientation, you will be assigned to an Independent Contractor
Advisor. Your advisor will be there to guide and support you while you're
out on the road and will also help you with issues concerning dispatch, pay
and additional training. They are your go-to person, whom you can rely on
everyday, no matter where you are nationwide
