Olin Chlor Alkali Products Division has an opening for a Driver Delivery Specialist at the Henderson, Nevada facility. This position is responsibile for the delivery of hazardous material products in a safe and timely manner to the Nevada, California, Arizona, and Idaho regions.
Responsibilies include conducting pre/post trip inspections, completing accurate information for the online Xata system, adhering to all Safety requirements including wearing all PPE during loading and unloading, loading tankers to full capacity and ensuring safe and timely deliveries, maintaining the highest level of customer service, adhering to all maintenance and housekeeping compliances to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of equipment, and ensuring effective internal and external communications to dispatch office, customer service office, and to customers.
Qualifications include:
-High school diploma or GED preferred; or 15+ years commercial driving experience and proven safe work record.
-Commercial drivers license required; hazardous materials and tanker endorsements required.
-Two years over-the-road experience required.
-Up to one year of tanker experience or equivalent preferred.
-Must be able to climb trailer and cab ladders; lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds; and wear a chemical suit in a hot environment.
